Fishing Town is a nostalgic game inspired by the fishing life and passion for aquatic animals in mythical islands and long-lost stories with old-school pixel art style. Their fishing rods which are key to the game and also serve as collectible NFTs come in different shapes and sizes. These rods will help you catch fish at different speeds according to the type of rod you have in the game.

On 27 November 2021, Fishing Town sold out 4,500 gachapons for the first session within 2 minutes. The team didn’t expect to sell it all within this short time.

The next gachapon sale session will occur on 23rd December 2021. They have done 7 AMAs so far with CoinxPad, BSC Gems Army, CryptoNation, WisdomBully, NFT Gamer Japan, DAOLaunch, CMC, and 2 others soon with CoinLAB & BSCDaily.

5. Fishing Town’s Motivation and Why

It started from Jack Whale the CEO & CMO of Fishing Town who likes to play Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Jack wanted to create multi-features and a sustainable game with impressive graphic and sound. He paired up with CPO (Lucas Whale) then CTO (Tony Orca), from 3 team members they now have 40 people who share the same goal.  They have put a  benchmark to be the best fishing game on BSC and climb to remain on the Top 5 best Gamefi projects on BSC. In the long run, it’s not only the profit they aim to make, but they also aim to nurture a blockchain-driven society. They believe that the more people they have, means that they can drive more people in, the more new ideas and technology will create a better eco-system and way of life for everyone.
