Argan oil – Eco Collective

Argan oil is perfect to use on all skin and hair types. It is filled with omega fatty acids, linoleic acids and vitamin E. Argan oil is noncomedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores. Argan oil can help with inflammation while also moisturizing the skin. This oil can also help tame frizz and fly-aways as well as protect against heat.

*Argan oil production has been known to be unsustainable. However, we have found a wonderful supplier who not only looks after the argan trees but also the local farmers rural to Morocco. They have invested in solar energy, water-saving harvesting techniques, and pesticide-free growth. In addition, our supplier focuses heavily on living wage jobs and opportunities for local workers, providing training for villagers in their community, and growing in partnership with them . Although we are still careful in our use of argan oil, we are pleased that when we do use it, we are supporting sustainable farming practices that operate hand in hand with positive social impact.

Instructions

To help with a dry scalp: Add a few drops on your scalp  and then rub in with fingers. 

Use as a face moisturizer: Add a few drops to your face and rub in with fingers.

We recommend storing your oil in an aluminum bottle (or an amber glass bottle) to protect it from light. Store in a cool, dry place. Stores well under most conditions, but high heat will lessen the shelf life.

Reuse or recycle* clean, dry bottles and screw caps. Bottles and screw caps are made of aluminum which is infinitely recyclable, going from bin to store shelf in 60 days!

*We hope to someday offer a take back program for our aluminum bottles when we have the right equipment to sanitize them, but for now are excited to offer a highly recyclable way for you to order bulk goods even if you don’t have a bulk store in your area!
