Just-add-water hair conditioner – various scents – Eco Collective

Gone are the days of wasteful hair care products in single-use plastic bottles and awkward-to-use shampoo and conditioner bars! These locally handmade granules transform into of familiar liquid conditioner when mixed with hot water in a reusable bottle.  This innovative product allows us to ship the product completely plastic-free, and without the added water weight that pre-made liquid products have – reducing your waste and lowering your carbon emissions! Salonsolids solid-to-liquid shampoo and conditioner was created with natural, nontoxic ingredients by a local Seattle hair stylist with 20+ years of experience, a passion for minimizing waste, and gorgeous hair, might we add!  And for the curlies out there – all salonsolids products are “curly girl method” approved, meaning they are made without sulfates, silicones, or alcohols. Mix 1 tsp granules + 1 oz hot water, stir, and let cool. Use from any refillable bottle or container. Refillable glass and aluminum bottles for mixing sold separately. Customize conditioner with favorite hair oil for added moisturizing benefits. Use within 3 months of mixing.

8 fl. oz. yield packet – One packet creates one batch of liquid conditioner. Pour the granules into any of our 8 oz. reusable pump bottles, fill the rest with hot water, mix, and let cool! This compostable packet contains 0.85 oz. (24g) of granules, and yields 8 fl. oz. of liquid conditioner.

Ingredients

MSM, glycine, proline, hydroxyproline (amino acids),  brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine, lactic acid, xanthan gum, aspen bark extract, essential oil (in scented varieties only). No sulfates, soap, palm oil, gluten, silicones, GMOs, soy. Cruelty free & 100% biodegradable and eco system safe. “Curly girl method” approved!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The conditioner powder/paste mix is perfect in every way. Comes in a zero -plastic paper zip bag, fun to make, leaves my hair silky smooth, reasonably priced for the quality. I only wish it’d come in a bulk size or they can restock. So glad I found this. Will repurchase!

Great plastic free conditioner

This conditioner works really well! I had tried conditioner bars and I just wasn’t a fan. This stuff comes out to a great consistency and does a good job. I added my own mix of essential oils to the unscented packet for my own scent. When my current batch is out I will buy the bulk packet to keep using this product with minimal waste!
