Micellar water – Eco Collective

Micellar water can take the place of your cleanser and toner, and it is a gentle makeup remover. We love it for touching up mascara misses and for cleaning your face after being out and about on your bike, or a long car ride or anywhere you want to get your face clean when there’s no water around. We also like it on those mornings when we need to rush out the door after a late night, or just as a final makeup remover after cleansing at night.

It has no harsh chemicals, so it is safe for sensitive skin.

Instructions

Pour or spritz micellar water onto a reusable cotton round. This takes advantage of the cottons hydrophilic properties. The hydrophilic heads are attracted to the cotton, leaving the hydrophobic tails sticking up to trap oil, and dirt, including makeup, mascara and sebum. When applied to skin Micellar Water and cotton pads cleanse the skin by acting like a magnet, attracting and entrapping impurities without harsh rubbing or scraping.

To store this product, we recommend using the provided aluminum bottle with a spray attachment. Spray pumps are optional so that you can reuse them with each refill.

Caution: The rim of the aluminum bottle may be sharp.

*We hope to someday offer a take back program for our aluminum bottles when we have the right equipment to sanitize them, but for now are excited to offer a highly recyclable way for you to order bulk goods even if you don’t have a bulk store in your area!
