Pink Himalayan Salt, Fine Grade – Eco Collective
Himalyan pink salt fine grade is one of our favorite ingredients to use in DIY skin care as well as using as a seasoning on our favorite foods. The salt is rich in nutrients and a reported 84 trace minerals. It’s considered one of the purest salts in the world as it is virtually free of pollutants and toxins. We love himalyan pink salt to make a DIY face scrub as the salts are great for exfoliating and moisturizing dry skin. It is important to exfoliate because it helps to remove dead skin from the surface and reduces pores and wrinkles.
Instructions
A DIY face scrub that we recommend :
- 1 cup fine grade himalyan pink salt
- ½ cup of oil(s) of choice ( we recommend grapeseed oil as it’s good for all skin types and has numerous fatty acids and won’t clog pores or cause breakouts)
- 10-20 drops of essential oils of choice.
First mix the oil of choice with the essential oils. Mix until all the salts are covered in oil, but not swimming in oil. Store in any jar of choice. When ready to use, grab a little bit on your fingers and rub in a circular motion on your face. Then rinse with warm water and washcloth.
