The U.S. alone uses 500 Million Plastic Straws Every Day. Plastic straws find their way into our oceans because they are so light they easily blow out of trash cans and landfills. If we continue our addiction to plastic, by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish! Our home base, Seattle, WA is banning single use plastic straws and we couldn’t be more proud of the forward-thinking initiative.  10.5 inch straws are perfect for venti sized cups while the 8.5 inch straws are best for standard size cups and fit perfectly in a bamboo utensil set – creating a perfect kit to avoid single use disposables on the go! End of life

This straw should last a lifetime, but if you’d like to let go of it, you can regift it, donate it, or recycle it.

Material

100% stainless steel. Colored straws are anodized, not painted. A durable and BPA free, pthalate free alternative to plastic straws.

Use and care

These straws are heat, stain, and rust resistant, and do not absorb any flavors. For prevent it from being hard to clean, rinse with water soon after using. Even taking a sip of water through it will do the trick. To clean, use a straw cleaning brush and warm soapy water. It’s also dishwasher safe.
